The surgery for the calf implant is the surgical technique that allows to improve the shape of the twin muscles of the legs, by inserting an implant that is placed through the posterior fold of the knee. The implants allow to add definition and substantially improve the appearance of the legs.
The increase of calves or increase of twins seeks to reshape the figure and obtain a curvature and volume in the area of the calf that resemble those achieved with physical exercise.
The implant placement can be submuscular, intramuscular or subfascial, each of which offers different types of augmentation.
