Endoscopic facelift

Endoscopic frontoplasty

The endoscopic facelift is a surgery that consists of rejuvenating the forehead and raising the eyebrows and cheeks in the desired position. The word "endoscopic" refers to the use of a camera during the intervention to assist the surgeon in the visualization of the dissection. Because the incisions are small, the surgeon does not have direct visualization of the area, but visualizes the area on which it works through the endoscope introduced through the incision.

The procedure of frontal surgery is performed through small incisions within areas covered by frontal and / or temporal hair, and with the help of an endoscope that increases the image 32 times its normal size.

It is possible to detach the skin in the frontal zone to elevate and ascend the tissues of the forehead, eyebrows, lateral periobital and region of the cheekbones according to each case, protecting at the same time the nervous and vascular structures. This can be done in different ways depending on the case, but fundamentally we use resorbable fixation devices.

The endoscopic frontal facelift serves to correct the position of the eyebrows, frown lines and the peri-orbital area (crow's foot). The area of the face that most quickly "hangs" is the lateral part of the eyebrows, between 35 and 45 years. This produces an apparent, increased skin of the upper eyelid and crow's feet creating a look of aging and tired look.
