The correction of the breast by the increase or elevation of a bust with flaccidity is a surgical operation of cuts and elimination of excess tissues, overloaded suspensory ligaments, excess skin, and transposes the higher areola-nipple complex of the hemisphere of the chest.

The female breast is subject to various transformations, whether due to genetic factors, the increase of breasts due to pregnancy, lactation, weight loss, hormonal factors or simply over the years. These factors are conditions that confer that the breast loses its appearance and becomes flaccid, arriving to have an aspect of fallen breasts or empty breasts.

The scars will depend fundamentally on the shape and fall of the chest before the intervention. Some patients will only need a small incision around the areola, while others may require more incisions, to remove excess skin and improve the mammary shape.
