Labiaplasty
The nymphoplasty consists of a surgical operation to reduce the size of the labia minora exaggeratedly large (hypertrophic). Normally it is the vertical length or height, which is excessive and which causes them to protrude between the majors.
It is very important that the reduction is carried out with a functional and aesthetic criterion. Not only must the height of the lip be reduced so that it does not bother or cause irritations on the vulva, but it must be remodeled so that it is aesthetically natural and without visible scars.
It is a relatively simple procedure and can be performed under local anesthesia and sedation. It is performed in an operating room but the patient can return home the same day. The recovery is quick and the postoperative nothing painful.
The procedure requires minimal resorbable stitches, which are spontaneously removed in 7-10 days. Recovery is known to occur with a slight inflammation that remits in 7 days.
